You may be aware that there is a movement to establish an amendment to the U.S. Constitution called the Parental Rights Amendment.  You can find out about it at ParentalRights.org

You can find a great deal of information about the need for such an Amendment.  You can also find out why the UNCRC is a threat to the rights of parents to make decisions as to how they wish to raise their children.  If you think it is not something to worry about please watch the video below.

As with anything Progressives do, it sounds altruistic.  All they want to do is protect children.  I think we are all OK with that.  The devil, as they say, is in the details.  WHO gets to decide what is “in the best interest of the child?”  I believe the parents are the best judges of that.  Please realize we are not talking about abusive situations, we are talking about, for instance, how often you take your children to church and much, much more.
